Le planning des jours qui ont pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 assez intense : fin du boulot vendredi 12 au soir (derni\u00e8re r\u00e9union termin\u00e9e \u00e0 21h30, le bonheur de bosser avec des am\u00e9ricains !), trajet Lyon -&gt; Toulouse samedi 14 au matin, quelques courses de derni\u00e8re minute le samedi apr\u00e8s-midi, suivi d&rsquo;un resto avec mon fr\u00e8re, sa femme et ses enfants le samedi soir, suivi d&rsquo;une nuit perturb\u00e9e par l\u2019excitation du d\u00e9part o\u00f9 nous n&rsquo;avons pas tr\u00e8s bien dormi.<\/p>\n<p>Au r\u00e9veil en ce dimanche , nous ne sommes pas dans les conditions id\u00e9ales pour d\u00e9buter une randonn\u00e9e au long cours : nous n\u2019avons aucune pr\u00e9paration physique (pas eu le temps ni l&rsquo;envie de s&rsquo;y astreindre\u2026), et sommes plut\u00f4t fatigu\u00e9s suite \u00e0 un mois de juin et un d\u00e9but de mois de juillet professionnellement bien charg\u00e9s, mais qu\u2019importe, nous d\u00e9bordons d\u2019enthousiasme : nous avons r\u00eav\u00e9 \u00e0 cette travers\u00e9e depuis plus d\u2019un an, nous avons \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les itin\u00e9raires et les variantes, collect\u00e9 des quantit\u00e9s faramineuses d\u2019informations, nous avons suivi quasi compulsivement l\u2019\u00e9volution de l\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019enneigement des hauts cols, et cette fois nous y sommes, c\u2019est enfin le jour du d\u00e9part ! Dans quelques heures, nous allons pouvoir enfin l\u00e2cher prise, et ne plus avoir \u00e0 penser \u00e0 rien d\u2019autre que mettre un pied devant l\u2019autre&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s le petit d\u00e9jeuner, nous terminons les ultimes pr\u00e9paratifs de nos sacs, et pr\u00e9parons le pique-nique que nous avons pr\u00e9vu de manger ce midi dans le train pour Banyuls. Juste avant de partir, nous pesons nos sacs, avec nos affaires, 3 jours de nourriture et 1L d\u2019eau chacun. Verdict de la balance : 11 kg. Pas si mal compar\u00e9 \u00e0 ce que nous nous trimbalions sur le dos il y a quelques ann\u00e9es, m\u00eame si nous sommes encore loin du minimalisme de certains MUL (\u00ab marcheurs ultra l\u00e9ger \u00bb) crois\u00e9s sur l\u2019excellent site <a href=\"http:\/\/www.randonner-leger.org\">www.randonner-leger.org<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>Nous rejoignons la gare de Bazi\u00e8ge (plus proche de chez mon fr\u00e8re que Toulouse Matabiau) et, apr\u00e8s un dernier adieu familial, montons dans le train qui doit nous d\u00e9poser \u00e0 Banyuls \u00e0 12h30. En ce dimanche matin, le train est bond\u00e9, il y flotte un air de vacances. Je trouve difficilement une place, Sam s\u2019assoit sur un escalier entre deux voitures. Le train \u00e9tant un omnibus, nous mettrons un peu plus de 3 heures pour arriver \u00e0 destination, ce qui est une premi\u00e8re mise en condition de ce qui sera notre quotidien pour les semaines \u00e0 venir : le d\u00e9placement est lent (bon, quand m\u00eame un peu plus rapide qu\u2019\u00e0 pied\u00a0&#x1f60a;), et nous pouvons observer par la fen\u00eatre les paysages qui changent petit \u00e0 petit, et les gares qui d\u00e9filent (Castelnaudary, Carcassonne, Narbonne, Perpignan, Argeles, Collioure, \u2026.).<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 Narbonne le train se vide un peu, plus personne n\u2019est debout dans les couloirs ou assis par terre, chacun a pu trouver un si\u00e8ge. Apr\u00e8s Narbonne, le trajet s\u2019oriente plein sud, le train passe au milieu de quelques \u00e9tangs avant de s\u2019approcher de la c\u00f4te. Les villes et gares continuent \u00e0 d\u00e9filer (Port la Nouvelle, Leucate, Argeles, Collioure\u00a0\u2026), et la tension et le stress li\u00e9s au pr\u00e9paratifs et au d\u00e9part finissent de s\u2019\u00e9vaporer \u00e0 l\u2019approche de notre destination, aid\u00e9s par quelques podcasts \u00e9cout\u00e9s pour passer le temps, et la musique de Dire Straits dans mes oreilles, qui accompagnera la derni\u00e8re heure de trajet.<\/p>\n<p>A 12h30, nous arrivons \u00e0 Banyuls. La gare est dans les \u00ab\u00a0hauteurs\u00a0\u00bb de la ville (\u00e0 20m d\u2019altitude\u00a0&#x1f60a;), mais plut\u00f4t que de rejoindre directement le sentier, nous passons quand m\u00eame par la plage et le fameux panneau du GR10 pour immortaliser notre d\u00e9part. (2\/2)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Premiers pas sur la HRP<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A 13h nous commen\u00e7ons \u00e0 marcher. Forc\u00e9ment, vue l\u2019heure, la chaleur est bien pr\u00e9sente, et d\u00e8s que nous nous retrouvons \u00e0 l\u2019abri du vent elle devient \u00e9touffante. Les 300 premiers m\u00e8tres de d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 se font sans probl\u00e8me, et nous pouvons faire le plein d\u2019eau \u00e0 la source des chasseurs, qui coule avec un d\u00e9bit raisonnable. Mais plus nous avan\u00e7ons et plus la fatigue se fait sentir. Entre la chaleur et notre (absence de) condition physique, nous sommes \u00e0 la peine. La fatigue est vraiment pr\u00e9sente, nous d\u00e9cidons de nous arr\u00eater l\u00e0, et de bivouaquer au refuge Tomy non loin de l\u00e0. Ce refuge est atypique, il s\u2019agit d\u2019une sorte de grotte transform\u00e9e en cabane ferm\u00e9e par l\u2019ajout de quelques planches et d\u2019une vitre. L\u2019int\u00e9rieur \u00e9tant exigu, Sam s\u2019y installera seul, de mon c\u00f4t\u00e9 je monterai la tente sur l\u2019emplacement de bivouac am\u00e9nag\u00e9 juste \u00e0 class=\"wp-caption-text\">Chambre avec vue pour notre premi\u00e8re nuit !<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Un peu plus tard dans la soir\u00e9e, nous serons rejoints par Corentin, un randonneur solo qui se lance comme nous dans une travers\u00e9e Est -&gt; Ouest, plut\u00f4t sur le GR10 a priori, mais sans exclure quelques bouts de HRP sur certaines sections.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s nous \u00eatre repos\u00e9s, avoir fait un brin de toilette et mang\u00e9, et avant d\u2019aller nous coucher, nous avons la chance de pouvoir profiter d\u2019une fin de journ\u00e9e et d\u2019un coucher de soleil magnifique, au-dessus d\u2019une mer de nuages qui embellit le paysage alentour (la mer, les premiers contreforts des Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es, et quelques tours de garde perch\u00e9es sur les sommets qui nous font Le planning des jours qui ont pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 assez intense : fin du boulot vendredi 12 au soir (derni\u00e8re r\u00e9union termin\u00e9e \u00e0 21h30, le bonheur de bosser avec des am\u00e9ricains !), trajet Lyon -&gt; Toulouse samedi 14 au matin, quelques courses de derni\u00e8re minute le samedi apr\u00e8s-midi, suivi d&rsquo;un resto avec mon fr\u00e8re, sa femme et ses enfants le samedi soir, suivi d&rsquo;une nuit perturb\u00e9e par l\u2019excitation du d\u00e9part o\u00f9 nous n&rsquo;avons pas tr\u00e8s bien dormi.
