Le d\u00e9but de la randonn\u00e9e est assez peu int\u00e9ressant, nous longeons une piste avec une belle vue sur les infrastructures d\u2019une station de ski. Le chemin s\u2019\u00e9l\u00e8ve rapidement et au bout de 200 m\u00e8tres de d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 d\u00e9bouche \u2026 sur un barrage, suivi d\u2019un plateau avec des remont\u00e9es m\u00e9caniques <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"smilies\" title=\"D\u00c3\u00a9moniaque ou tr\u00c3\u00a8s en col\u00c3\u00a8re\" src=\"https:\/\/forum.apran.fr\/images\/smilies\/icon_evil.gif\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Estany del mig et Estany de Mes Amunt<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Au-dessous du dernier \u00e9tang un replat nous donne une vue sur le port de l\u2019Albeille par lequel passe notre itin\u00e9raire, ainsi que le pic de Tristagne \u00e0 sa gauche. En suivant le chemin nous r\u00e9alisons que nous nous sommes tromp\u00e9s et avons pris la direction du Pic et pas du col. Qu\u2019\u00e0 cela ne tienne, ce d\u00e9tour n\u2019est pas pour nous d\u00e9plaire, et vue la dur\u00e9e de la journ\u00e9e nous avons largement le temps ! Sur les deux itin\u00e9raires possibles, nous choisissons le plus direct (et donc le plus rapide). L\u2019ascension est raide, mais sur un terrain beaucoup plus agr\u00e9able que l\u2019ascension du Pic de Serr\u00e8re la veille, et surtout avec un balisage en point jaune ultra rassurant : un point tous les quelques m\u00e8tres dans les parties les plus potentiellement \u00ab paumatoires \u00bb, aucune chance de se perdre ! Initialement nous avions pr\u00e9vu de rallier le port de l\u2019Albeille pour rejoindre notre itin\u00e9raire (un chemin est mentionn\u00e9 sur notre carte) mais un trailer Andorran qui est mont\u00e9 par l\u00e0 nous le d\u00e9conseille : l\u2019itin\u00e9raire n\u2019est pas balis\u00e9 et un peu risqu\u00e9 en descente selon lui. Nous d\u00e9cidons donc de descendre par l\u2019ar\u00eate sud-ouest, et de replonger ensuite vers l\u2019Etang Fourcat au col en contrebas. Cette ar\u00eate aussi le second chemin d\u2019acc\u00e8s au sommet, et il est tout aussi bien balis\u00e9 que le premier. Le refuge poss\u00e8de toute une biblioth\u00e8que de livre des \u00e9ditions Gu\u00e9rin (les fameux livres rouges), on n\u2019a que l\u2019embarras du choix. Le mien se portera sur \u00ab\u00a0A la verticale de soi \u00bb de St\u00e9phanie Bodet, que je d\u00e9vorerai quasiment int\u00e9gralement (il m\u2019a manqu\u00e9 du temps pour la fin). Nous ne retirons dans le dortoir pour retrouver un peu de calme en attendant le diner. Pour le repas, la salle \u00e0 manger est bond\u00e9e, le gardien installe m\u00eame du monde sur la terrasse : entre les 37 lits du refuge qui est complet et les personnes qui bivouaquent autour, nous serons 62 \u00e0 table.
