L\u2019\u00e9tape du jour commence par 850 m\u00e8tres de d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 cons\u00e9cutifs pour atteindre le col des Thures, qui sera le premier d\u2019une s\u00e9rie de cinq. La mont\u00e9e se fait dans des alpages, c\u2019est suffisamment raide pour que \u00e7a monte bien, mais pas assez pour que \u00e7a soit p\u00e9nible (\u00e0 l\u2019exception comme souvent des class=\"wp-caption-text\">Col des Thures<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Arriv\u00e9 au col, je me rends compte que les nuages ont envahi la vall\u00e9e d\u2019o\u00f9 je viens, mais que la cr\u00eate sur laquelle je me trouve est au soleil. D\u2019ailleurs la journ\u00e9e sera plut\u00f4t nuageuse, mais de la bonne fa\u00e7on : beaucoup de nuages blancs, \u00e7a habille le ciel sur les photos, \u00e7a masque le soleil et \u00e9vite \u00e0 la peau de br\u00fbler\u2026. Mais \u00e7a ne g\u00e9n\u00e8re pas de pluie. Apr\u00e8s le col des Thures, changement d\u2019ambiance, on passe d\u2019un alpage herbeux \u00e0 une cr\u00eate caillouteuse. Cette cr\u00eate m\u2019offre une courte escapade de l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la fronti\u00e8re italienne, le temps de rejoindre le col de Rasis une petite demi-heure plus tard.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-caption-text\">Laquet sous le col de Rasis<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Tout \u00e0 mon bonheur d\u2019avancer vite dans un joli paysage, j\u2019oublie de regarder les traces rouges et blanches. Quand je m\u2019en rends compte, je dois remonter une trentaine de m\u00e8tres pour r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer le GR, qui s\u2019\u00e9tait remis \u00e0 grimper l\u00e9g\u00e8rement. On passe ensuite d\u2019une l\u00e9g\u00e8re grimpette \u00e0 une plus s\u00e9v\u00e8re, heureusement br\u00e8ve, et de nouveau dans un pierrier terreux. La vue \u00e0 360 degr\u00e9s est \u00e9poustouflante, en particulier du c\u00f4t\u00e9 du lac du grand Laus, le plus grand et le plus haut des lacs Malrif. Je m\u2019offre ma pause d\u00e9jeuner au sommet et passe un long moment \u00e0 contempler la vue.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3085\" style=\"width: 2010px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a jusqu\u2019au col du petit Malrif (2830m), et d\u2019entamer la descente en direction du refuge des Fonts de Cervi\u00e8res (2040m).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3087\" style=\"width: 2010px\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Vers le refuge des Fonts (3\/3)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Je l\u2019atteins vers 13h, je suis un peu fatigu\u00e9 mais l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019y passer la nuit ne me s\u00e9duit pas du tout : le refuge est accessible par la route et nous sommes samedi, le parking est plein et la terrasse noire de monde. Je m\u2019offre une longue pause, \u00e0 base de soda plein de sucre et de tarte aux myrtilles (d\u00e9licieuse la tarte !), et vers 14h je d\u00e9cide de me mettre en route vers mon cinqui\u00e8me et dernier col de la journ\u00e9e : le col de P\u00e9as. Les 600m \u00e0 monter se font principalement sur une pente assez douce, \u00e0 l\u2019exception d\u2019une centaine de m\u00e8tres plus raides, et malgr\u00e9 les 1200 m\u00e8tres de d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 positifs d\u00e9j\u00e0 aval\u00e9s pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, j\u2019atteins le col sans trop puiser dans mes r\u00e9serves.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3090\" style=\"width: 2010px\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Vue depuis le col de P\u00e9as<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Mon id\u00e9e initiale \u00e9tait de bivouaquer une centaine de m\u00e8tres sous le col, au bord du torrent. On m\u2019avait indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019il y avait de nombreux endroits plats, ce qui est effectivement le cas mais deux choses me font renoncer \u00e0 ce projet<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Il y a \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de vent de ce c\u00f4t\u00e9-ci du col<\/li>\n<li>La m\u00e9t\u00e9o que je viens de consulter \u00e0 l\u2019instant indique des risques de pluie et d\u2019orage \u00e0 partir de 9h demain matin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Je d\u00e9cide donc de descendre plus bas en esp\u00e9rant trouver moins de vent, et ainsi raccourcir mon \u00e9tape du lendemain. Pour le vent c\u2019est rat\u00e9, plus j\u2019avance et plus il s\u2019intensifie. Je me r\u00e9signe \u00e0 descendre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Souliers (hameau qui constitue le point bas de ma randonn\u00e9e de demain \u00e0 1850m), mais environ 300 m\u00e8tres sous le col je tombe sur une grande \u00e9tendue plate, l\u00e9g\u00e8rement en contrebas et bien moins expos\u00e9e au vent que les alentours. Je d\u00e9cide d\u2019y installer mon bivouac. La mont\u00e9e se fait dans des alpages, c\u2019est suffisamment raide pour que \u00e7a monte bien, mais pas assez pour que \u00e7a soit p\u00e9nible (\u00e0 l\u2019exception comme souvent des derniers m\u00e8tres juste sous le col). Je mettrai deux heures pour atteindre ce premier col, c\u2019est vraiment agr\u00e9able de sentir le corps r\u00e9pondre aux sollicitations comme une machine bien rod\u00e9e. Arriv\u00e9 au col, je me rends compte que les nuages ont envahi la vall\u00e9e d\u2019o\u00f9 je viens, mais que la cr\u00eate sur laquelle je me trouve est au soleil.
