Ce torrent serpente au milieu d\u2019une for\u00eat de m\u00e9l\u00e8zes, dont certains semblent \u00e9trangement d\u00e9j\u00e0 commencer \u00e0 rougir. Mais nous sommes seulement mi-juillet, et \u00e0 y regarder de plus pr\u00e8s ils sont plus bruns que rouge. S\u00e9cheresse, maladie, parasite ? Dans tous les cas c\u2019est inqui\u00e9tant, car cela ne concerne pas seulement quelques arbres isol\u00e9s mais un grand nombre d\u2019entre eux. Apr\u00e8s recherches, j\u2019apprendrai que ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne spectaculaire est li\u00e9 \u00e0 une chenille, la tordeuse grise du m\u00e9l\u00e8ze, et qu\u2019il se produit tous les 8 \u00e0 10 ans. Cette journ\u00e9e marque la fin de cette aventure itin\u00e9rante, et le d\u00e9but d\u2019une autre plus s\u00e9dentaire, puisque je passerai dix jours \u00e0 Brunissard avec Karine et des amis.
